Descripción general del contenido del recurso.

Se ha estudiado la morfología interna comparativa de las raíces de las dos especies de "ginseng" que circulan en el país (Panax ginseng Meyer y P. quinquefolium L.). Se efectuó además el análisis micrográfico a fin de establecer los caracteres histológicos de diagnóstico que permitan el control de calidad cuando la droga se halle en polvo. Se incluyen dibujos anatómicos y clave para identificar las especies. Se mencionan los adulterantes encontrados. It is an analitical microscopic study of Panax ginseng Meyer and P. quinquefolium L., the histological characters for diapostics of the two species are described. A key was elaborated for control of powdered drugs illustrations of the histological characters of the two species and adulterants are given. Colegio de Farmacéuticos de la Provincia de Buenos Aires
