Las escuelas de niñas en la provincia de Jaén, 1875-1930: un acercamiento histórico

Este trabajo, estructurado en dos partes, contempla la creación del sistema escolar femenino en Jaén entre 1875 y 1930. En él se observa cómo eran las escuelas de niñas que comienzan a abrirse, su pobreza, dimensiones, materiales de docencia y aprendizaje, maestras, escuelas públicas y privadas, matrícula de alumnas, régimen educativo por el que se rige la escuela, sistema de premios y castigos, libros, etc., así como los diferentes sistemas de creación de escuelas públicas y privadas a lo largo de esta etapa. The present work, divided in two parts, shows the creation of the female school system in Jaén between 1875 and 1930. The reader will learn the structure of the girls’ schools that begin to open, their poverty, their size, the teaching and learning materials, teachers, public and private schools, student enrolment, educational regime governing the school, awards and punishments plans, books, etc., as well as the different systems used for creating public and private schools throughout this stage.
