Dinámica productiva y política industrial en la Argentina

Quizás de un modo más marcado que en otros países en desarrollo, la evolución de la estructura productiva en el caso argentino ha estado condicionada en el largo plazo por tres rasgos estructurales. Uno de ellos es la restricción externa, que ha sido causa o desencadenante importante del crecimiento espasmódico y tendencialmente débil, de la volatilidad cambiaria, de presiones inflacionarias y de agudos conflictos distributivos. Otro es la volatilidad de las variables reales que, sea por la destrucción de recursos productivos en las fases recesivas, por el perjuicio a la reproducción de economías dinámicas de escala o por la formación de expectativas perversas en los agentes económicos, ha deprimido la tasa de crecimiento potencial.
