Los vaivenes de la Política Exterior Argentina : ¿Autonomía o dependencia?

Una revisión de los últimos dos siglos de historia nacional nos muestra la evolución del pensamiento imperante en las diferentes etapas así como las respuestas a los estímulos externos y las prioridades en las agendas de quienes tuvieron el poder para establecerlas. Un proceso de crecimiento debe ser integral, incorporando el agro y la industria a economía, como así también el sector social, político y -fundamentalmente-cultural. Sin ese espíritu de conjunto, consensuado en la sociedad, propuesto por sus líderes intelectuales, puesto en marcha por sus dirigentes y aceptado por la población, los resultados serán muy pobres. Aún no hemos alcanzado la autonomía necesaria para fortalecer esta débil democracia. A revision of the last two centuries of Argentinean History shows the evolution of the ruling ideas in the different periods, the responses to external stimulus and the priorities in the agendas of those with the power to establish them. A process of growth should be integral, comprising agriculture and industry to economy, as well as including social, political and cultural sectors. Without this cohesive spirit, discussed among society members, proposed by its intellectual leaders, run by its representatives and accepted by the population, the results will be poor.
