La importancia de los Recursos Hídricos no ha pasado desapercibida entre las Naciones. En la actualidad, el tema ha tomado relevancia en la agenda internacional, no solo desde el punto de vista ambiental y como eje de integración, sino como elemento esencial para la vida humana. Al efecto de poder mantener este recurso para las generaciones futuras se hace necesario promover su gestión integral, sobre todo en las cuencas hídricas compartidas entre diversos Estados, donde deben evitarse situaciones capaces de perturbar la paz y la seguridad. La autora afirma que afianzar la cooperación internacional fomentará la confianza y redundará en un mayor desarrollo y estabilidad entre los Estados. At the present time, the subject has taken relevance in the international agenda, not only from the environmental point of view and axis of integration, but from the essential element of human life. In order for that to be able to maintain this resource for future generations it has become necessary to promote its integral management, mainly in the shared hydric basins between different States, where situations must be avoided to disturb peace and the security. The author affirms that to strengthen the international cooperation she will foment the confidence which will result in great development and stability between the States.
