Desarrollo de un sistema de gestión de becas universitarias para alumnos de Ingenieria Industrial del ITBA

"El objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación es estudiar en forma intensa y continua el actual sistema de becas de la universidad ITBA, a fin de implementar ciertos indicadores a nivel organizacional y funcional, para un posible mejoramiento y avance en el sistema existente, siempre orientado particularmente, a la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial. Esta propuesta tiene como fundamento un mayor compromiso social hacia la universidad por parte de los alumnos y de los dirigentes. En primer lugar, se realizó un diagnóstico metodológico y conceptualde la tecnología actual de la universidad. Se integraron los programas de becas para las distintas modalidades de ingreso y las carreras de grado, las condiciones generales que implican una beca y la información requerida para postularse. Al expresar todo, surgieron diferencias entre lo teórico y lo real. En un flujograma se refleja, de manera didáctica, el circuito u organización y funcionamiento del actual sistema de becas. En segundo lugar, se realizó un estudio y mención de los problemas que deben solucionarse; el objetivo fue poder incrementar tanto las vacantes (mayor oferta de becas) como la cantidad de postulantes mediante una mejor publicidad. Esto considerando la ecuación económica, las restricciones adicionales, el comportamiento común de los becados y el funcionamiento actual del sistema. Por último se efectuó una posible propuesta para llevar a cabo, un diseño de estructura organizacional y funcional un tanto diferente del existente. Asimismo, se analizaron los beneficios concretos en caso de ser aplicado". "The aim of this research work is to analyze deeply and continuously the current scholarship system of ITBA Unversity, in order to implement some organizational and functional indicators and to improve and develop the already existing system. This research has been mainly directer to the degree course Industrial Engineering. The proposal is to increase the social commitment of both pupils and authorities towards the University. On one hand, a methodological and concept diagnosis of the current technology of the University was conducted. Scholarship programs for the various entrances and careers, scholarship general conditions and information required to apply were all integrated. After this, some differences arised between the theory and the practice. A didactic chart shows the circuit or organization and functionality of the current scholarship system. On the other hand, a research and notice of problem that should be solved was conducted; the aim was to increase both vacancies (wider scholarship offer) and candidates by means of an enhanced and better publicity. This was made considering economic fluctuations, additional restrictions, and standard behaviour of pupils and current functioning of the system. Finally a proposal was made, and a design of organizational and functional structure slightly different to the current one. Also, concrete benefits were analyzed, in case they were applied".
