Kelekatan aman telah dibuktikan berkorelasi dengan keberfungsian di masa mendatang, seperti hubungan individu terhadap orang lain, perkembangan kepribadian, serta masalah-masalah perilaku. Berkembangnya kelekatan aman memungkinkan individu memiliki pandangan yang positif terhadap diri sendiri, termasuk terhadap kemampuan diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat hubungan antara kelekatan aman dengan efikasi diri akademik remaja. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Skala Kelekatan Aman yang terdiri dari 40 aitem valid (rxx’ = 0,905) dan Skala Efikasi Diri Akademik yang terdiri dari 28 aitem valid (rxx’ = 0,909). Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Ungaran yang berjumlah 306 siswa. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 175 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik cluster random sampling.
