Summary

Descripción general del contenido del recurso.

This work is part of a research project aimed at analyzing changes in research policies related to agriculture and the food system in France, and their connections with agroecological innovation networks and public policies within its territory and region, in Latin America, as well as the institutionalization processes of agroecology in intergovernmental settings between 2010 and 2024. Various theoretical and methodological perspectives examining the relationship between democracy and sustainability are particularly relevant. In this regard, it is significant to analyze the emergence of changes in the ways of: (i) developing research policies, (ii) establishing research priorities, and (iii) innovating at the science-policy interface, exploring the processes of institutionalization and monitoring of transitions towards the sustainability of food systems in the face of climatic and socio-environmental challenges. This approach has the potential to highlight alternatives for mitigating risks that arise from research and innovation conducted within silos of knowledge and public policies.
