ABSTRACT Lemnoideae is a yet little known taxon in Brazil in taxonomic and distributive terms, given the few records for the country, especially in the Amazon region. Here, we present the first record of Lemna minuta Kunth for the state of Pará, providing a description of the species, its occurrence in Brazilian territory, and additional comments. This contributes to expanding the knowledge of the species’ distribution in the Amazon.
