El judío espectral como dispositivo pedagógico en el discurso de Juan Crisóstomo

En varias de sus homilías, Juan Crisóstomo, presbítero de Antioquía entre 386 y 398, utilizó una serie de tópoi propios de la literatura adversus iudaeos para referirse a los judíos. Este judío construido no tenía la finalidad de reflejar de manera fidedigna al colectivo hebreo de la ciudad. En realidad, este judío espectral se configuró como un dispositivo pedagógico al servicio del presbítero para instruir a su feligresía sobre qué era ser un verdadero cristiano.
