¿Populismo en la Argentina reciente?: Un análisis histórico político de las presidencias kirchneristas de comienzos del Siglo XXI

En el marco de la amplia producción académica disponible en materia de populismo y de los gobiernos populistas que tuvieron lugar en América Latina durante los últimos años, el presente artículo tiene como objeto analizar, bajo esa lente conceptual, las tres presidencias kirchneristas consecutivas que gobernaron la Argentina entre los años 2003 y 2015. A tal fin, se comienza por definir el concepto de “populismo” para luego comparar sus rasgos con los estilos y acciones desplegadas por Néstor y Cristina Kirchner durante sus respectivas presidencias, a fin de dilucidar si todo o algún aspecto o parte del período puede comprenderse en esa clave y explicarse en esos términos. Tomando como base el artículo de Mario Daniel Serrafero “12 años de kirchnerismo” (Política Exterior, 2015), en este nuevo trabajo se hará foco tanto las cuestiones que hacen al ejercicio del mando (la “práctica”), como a su retórica (la “letra”), para obtener una visión completa e integral de dichos gobiernos. Within the framework of the extensive academic production available on populism and the populist governments that took place in Latin America in recent years, this article aims to analyze, under this conceptual lens, the three consecutive Kirchnerist presidencies that governed the Argentina between 2003 and 2015. To this end, we begin by defining the concept of "populism" and then comparing its features with the styles and actions deployed by Néstor and Cristina Kirchner during their respective presidencies, in order to determine whether everything or some aspect or part of the period can be understood in that key and explained in those terms. Based on the article by Mario Daniel Serrafero “12 years of Kirchnerism” (Foreign Policy, 2015), this new work will focus both on the issues that make the exercise of command (the “practice”), and on its rhetoric (the “letter”), to obtain a complete and comprehensive view of these governments.
