Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara locus of control dengan stres kerja pada karyawan pabrik garment PT. Sri Rejeki Isman. Stres kerja adalah kondisi ketegangan yang dialami seseorang akibat ketidakmampuan mengatasi tekanan dan tuntutan dalam pekerjaannya sehingga mempengaruhi kondisi emosi, kemampuan berpikir, serta kondisi fisiknya. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 107 karyawan pabrik garment PT. Sri Rejeki Isman yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik incidental quota sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Skala Locus of Control (17 item; α= 0,843) dan Skala Stres Kerja (39 item; α= 0,923). Analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara internal locus of control dengan stres kerja (rxy= -0,294 dengan p = 0,002) yang berarti bahwa semakin tinggi internal locus of control maka semakin rendah stres kerja serta adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara external locus of control dengan stres kerja (rxy= 0,405 dengan p = 0,000) yang berarti bahwa semakin tinggi external locus of control maka semakin tinggi stres kerja. Locus of control memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 21,3% terhadap stres kerja.
