Se presenta aquí una reflexión sobre las posibilidades de que la educación formal se nutra del acaecer en los vecindarios en que viven los estudiantes. Busco un mayor aprovechamiento del potencial educativo de la cotidianidad, una redefinición del sentido de la educación y un mejoramiento de su calidad. También la reducción del fracaso escolar y la deserción de las aulas.
