VARIACIONES NICTEMERALES DE ALGUNAS VARIABLES CLIMÁTICAS, FÍSICAS Y QUÍMICAS EN UNA LAGUNA SOMERA EN GUATAPÉ (ANTIOQUIA), COLOMBIA NICTEMERAL VARIATION OF SOME CLIMATIC, PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL VARIABLES ON SMALL LAKE IN GUATAPÉ (ANTIOQUIA), COLOMBIA

Se evaluó la variación nictemeral de algunas variables climáticas, físicas y químicas durante dos días de muestreos separados por seis meses en dos épocas hidrológicas diferentes en una laguna tropical en el municipio de Guatapé (Antioquia), Colombia, con el fin de verificar que el trópico la magnitud de la variabilidad en el ciclo día-noche es mayor que la temporal. A nivel mensual, la pluviosidad presentó la mayor variación (C. V. = 56,9%) seguida por la temperatura del aire (C. V. = 19,7%) lo cual es común para las zonas tropicales. A través del ciclo día-noche, la mayoría de las variables estudiadas presentaron diferencias significativas excepto el pH, el cual mantuvo una muy baja variación durante todo el tiempo de estudio (C. V. < 5%) con una tendencia levemente ácida, lo cual es muy común en los sistemas acuáticos naturales o sin intervención antrópica y baja productividad. La variación entre horas, permitió mostrar diferencias significativas para algunas variables climáticas y limnológicas tales como: radiación solar, temperatura del aire y del agua, velocidad del viento, humedad relativa, oxígeno disuelto y su porcentaje de saturación, conductividad, alcalinidad y carbono inorgánico disuelto asociadas a la fluctuación de los ciclos de luz-oscuridad para todas las variables evaluadas, excepto para pH. Esta laguna presenta una estratificación térmica definida durante el periodo iluminado del día y una mezcla o tendencia a ésta durante el periodo nocturno, debido que la polimixis es predominante en este sistema acuático, por lo que la variación de las condiciones físicas y químicas en el ciclo día-noche es mayor que la variabilidad estacional (entre muestreos).<br>At a tropical lagoon in the municipality of Guatapé (Antioquia), Colombia was studied the nictemeral variation of several climatic, physical, and chemical variables evaluated during two days of separate samplings through six months in two different hydrologic periods in order to verify that the tropic the magnitude of the variability day-night cycle is greater than the temporary. At seasonal level, the pluviosity presented the highest variation (C. V. = 56.9%) followed by the air temperature (C. V. = 19.7%) which is common in the tropical areas. Through the day-night cycle the most of the studied variables presented significant differences except the pH, which maintained a very low variation during the whole time of study (C. V. < 5%) with a slightly acid tendency, which is very common in the natural aquatic systems or without antropic intervention and low productivity. The variation among hours permitted to show significant differentiates for some climatic and limnological variables such as solar radiation, air and water temperatures, wind speed, relative humidity, dissolved oxygen and its saturation percentage, conductivity, alkalinity, and dissolved inorganic carbon associated to the fluctuation of the cycles of light-darkness for all the variables evaluated, except for pH. This lagoon exhibits thermal stratification defined during the period illuminated of the day and a mix or tendency to this during the period nocturnal, proper to the polimixis is predominant in this aquatic system, so the variation of the physical and chemical conditions in the day-night cycle is greater than the seasonal variability (among sampling).
