Terms of use

General conditions for using NODOVOX.

These terms describe general criteria for using the public website, academic discovery, institutional portals, provider portals and services related to metadata, holdings and interoperability.

These terms apply to general use of NODOVOX, including public pages, academic discovery, forms, portals, institutional documentation and contracted services.

Client-specific conditions are established through a proposal, contract, commercial addendum, technical addendum and documentation accepted by the parties.

Content and metadata

NODOVOX may display metadata, links, identifiers, providers, repositories, catalogs, collections and bibliographic records from different sources.

The presence of a resource in NODOVOX does not necessarily imply ownership, licensing, permanent availability or guaranteed access to full text.

Access to external resources

Final access to content may depend on third parties, institutional licenses, external providers, repositories, open access, proxies, institutional link resolvers, authentication systems or external technical availability.

NODOVOX facilitates discovery, holdings, link resolution and access guidance, but does not control every linked external system.

Portals and accounts

Institutional, administrative or provider portals must be used only by authorized users.

Each institution, provider or authorized user must preserve the confidentiality of their access credentials and report any misuse or suspected incident.

Availability and changes

NODOVOX may make improvements, technical adjustments, maintenance work, interface changes, security updates or operational modifications to support the platform's evolution.

Specific service levels are established through an SLA, contracted plan or corresponding addendum.

Privacy and security

Use of NODOVOX is also related to privacy, security, cookie, session and operational information-processing policies.

Institutional note: these terms are a general informational baseline. They do not replace contracts, addenda, data-processing agreements, SLAs, commercial conditions or legal review applicable to each institution, country or jurisdiction.
